As we learned in the last post, Content Creation 2: The big picture broken down, Instagram is a secondary platform that compliments your primary (usually a website or blog but can be FB). Instagram has increased in popularity worldwide recently, but has been a major player in the Middle East. We love our pictures and we love our Emoticons.
In my opinion, Instagram is one of the easiest and best platforms to grow followers and retain / engage with them. And the best part about Instagram is that it is very forgiving. As the title suggests, Instagram is a 3 second grab and you have plenty of opportunities to do your 3 second dance. In the previous post we discussed breaking down the ‘Big Picture’ into smaller bite-sized information. You can also go a bit further away from this and post things that are part of the company ethos – like quotes of the day, inspirations, industry trends, complimenting industry information. In reality, since Instagram is a 3 sec grab, the way to be successful on Instagram is to be consistent, regular and engaging within your ethos.
Building content, that is consistent, relatable and lets face it plentiful with 1- 3 post suggested a day, can be a very daunting task. This is why I set up Socalee Media in the first place.
